Soft, great coverage, and meets 8 yr old’s standards!

Bought for 8 yr old granddaughter. Very picky on how things fit. She loves this hat. Bought 3 in different colors she likes it so much. (For her house, my house, school) She likes the way it protects her neck and is soft and doesn’t squeeze her head. Thrilled to find it after she outgrew the toddler hats with neck coverage and refused to wear baseball style hats.

Perfect beach hat for young girls!

I purchased two of these hats for my 2 granddaughters, ages 4 and 7, to use at the beach for sun-protection. The brim protected their face, eyes, ears and neck. The pony-tail opening works perfectly for their long hair. The hat is comfortable and functional. The sizing was as expected; the fit was perfect for our 4 year old; however, the brim was a little on the small side for our 7 year old, so it won't work for her next year. Worth the money for use at the beach this summer!

It is great quality and adorable!

We bought this hat for my 8 year old daughter. She has worn it several times, and loves the versatility of being able to wear her hair different ways. We hiked and kayaked through the Hawaiian rainforests, and she loved that she could pull her hair through the hole to keep it off her neck in the hot humid weather. I loved that it could pack flat or rolled, and that she looked so darn cute in it.

Cheap tension snapping buckle!

Ordered this little girls adventure hat for some hiking in Colorado last month and received it in good condition and looked just as advertised. However, during a trial fit at the house, it broke. How does a hat break? Well, there is a little plastic buckle that can be used to adjust the tension on the back of the hat and it is not made very well. It snapped when I buckled it preventing that feature from being usable. Luckily the hat fit fine for our little. Nevertheless, the manufacturer needs…

Center sewn incorrectly

My daughter was very excited to receive this hat.I'm giving it three stars because of the incorrect sewn center.It looked fine when the sides are down, however when we put the sides up we noticed it wasn't sewn correctly.It feels odd on her head when the sides are up, so she cannot wear it that way.She can still wear it if the sides are down.I was given a full refund from Best Buy.

GREAT FOR MY GRAND DAUGHTER AT THE BEACH

Purchased this for my Grand Daughter at the beach and she loved it. It's very functional and works as described. She is 8 years old and a small girl. This hat fit her perfectly. She used it at the beach and to fish. If it weren't for this hat, she would have been very sun burned!
