This is the worst thing cheap labor outsourcing can do. First, note that this "surge protector" is not UL listed and therefore not safety certified for the US market. Second, the design of this strip can have a ground fault as evidenced by my experience with it and other 1 star reviews. My unit was causing all connected audio devices to hum, and power to multiple headphone amp enclosures, indicating faulty ground wiring or schematics in that power strip.
