FIRE HAZARD! I'm a professional fire investigator. This device was used to power my computer, laptop and iPad charger. None of the devices were turned on during this incident. Luckily, my son heard a noise that caught his attention. Shortly thereafter we smelled a strong odor of something burning. Luckily we found the source under my desk before it caught fire. There was very little evidence of a problem on the outside of the extension, just a slight discoloration. Inside, however, it was clear where the problem was coming from. See pictures for reference. I will certainly not buy from this company again and will remove all Anker devices from my home. Revain and the manufacturer will be notified in writing.
