Honestly I didn't take it out of the box, I take it with me when it rains. It seems to keep the rain out and only when it's left do I need it so it works great and I can't fault it. I will update my review if anything changes.

Plastic rain hats give me the chills, I bought them to use my regular hat in the rain. The protector looks like a women's shower cap, and my three inch brimmed "deep" fedora fits all the way inside. If you have a hat that you want to wear in the rain without getting wet, buy one.

It's a good idea to have when you're walking around with a great hat and don't want the rain to ruin it. But it's like a bag. There is no class. You'd be better off with the cowboy hat version. It's much thicker than this bag. I put 3 for functionality. I'm deducting 2 because he's skinny and gross.
