I just had to install it and it worked fine.

I needed this item to provide sockets for my model railway layout and it simply had to be installed under the layout. It fit the bill perfectly.

Electrocution Hazard!: Power strips and surge protectors

Good. I bought 6 of these. Now to my great regret! I've tried them in several places. The intention was to protect some of my TVs during a thunderstorm. You're disabling my GFI circuitry! And they overheat and shut down with EVERY use. I have a newly built home with 400 amp service. NONE of my old extensions do this. It should not be!

Good quality general purpose extension cord

A flat plug that sticks out at a 45 degree angle so you don't lose the ability to use both wall outlets. A decent 5 foot length is sufficient for most purposes. Good build quality; There is no feeling that it will break if accidentally dropped. Multiple mounting options. A built in USB is a great thing to have on a power strip. One thing to keep in mind is that it's a great extension cord if you're connecting multiple things that are regular plugs on the ends of the cords. If you're using this…

This power supply feels nice and solid, I checked all the power plugs and USB connections, they work, all the plugs are tight, not too tight tight and not sloppy loose, just right, wish it was rated for 15 amps, that's only 10 amps with 18AWG cord, which is nice and soft and flexible btw, but 10 amps is fine, I'll mount it underneath mine Kitchen sink cabinet is fine for low power appliances I ever want to use underneath, although I have issues. Works well, long cable and USB ports

This extension worked well during my testing as I used it instead of an extension on my desktop in my home office. It was a socket smaller than the one he replaced, but the three USB ports were an added bonus. I was pleased with the USB ports' ability to power my smartphone and other USB devices.
