Proxicast X Boom Antenna Cross Over Bracket Review

Exactly what I need! He is extremely versatile and very strong. The mount allowed me to make the most of my limited antenna space.

This plate is big enough that I can install three security cameras on it after drilling. I also attached it to a bird drop cover overlooking our alley. All of this is mounted on a hefty safety bar, also purchased from Revain.

I added two yagi antennas. One is 18ft 2m and the other is 444MHz. This allowed me to easily mount them to the mast post, and since I mounted them vertically, the mast couldn't pass through the signal path.

It turned out to be a lot heavier than I expected or needed and it's not a problem at all. Just note that this thing is built to withstand heavy use. I'm just adding a 2m ground antenna to my existing vertical setup, so it turned out to be overkill for my needs.

The mounts are nice, thick and well made. Yes I could build some generic brackets to get the job done. But it's a good price considering the quality and the fact that they're specifically made to mount on an antenna mast. This is not a flat mount with holes but is contoured to properly attach to the mast.

I bought this product because I needed to attach the antenna to another bracket that was already installed on my outside wall. The mount was just what I needed. It's made from good, durable material and comes with all the necessary bar mounts. I highly recommend it for connecting two mounting posts at a 90 degree angle.

This mount is a little expensive for the price but very well made. The metal plate is very well thought out and should hold up very well. I only use it to hold a 3-4 foot crossbar and some very light antennas, but I would trust it a lot more. I was hesitant because of the price but very glad I decided to pull the trigger and buy it.

Bracket/plate is good, thick and strong, appears to be of good quality. Unfortunately mine arrived with a jammed nut on one of the U-bolts. The nut would not move without excessive force and stripped the bolt. Somehow the screw was a bit too big because the other nuts didn't fit. I sent it back for a quick replacement and the new one works great.
