Pone with monitor was ahead of its time. If Japan made a movie card for the little Psone, you could watch Video CDs, Audio CDs, and play console games for just $5 each at Gamestop. I think if they went the extra mile and built one for the smaller Psone (since the Japanese Psone movie card works on both old American and Japanese Psone) you could get a larger version of the PSP for half the price. However, Psone with monitor is very popular among gamers. I give this product four and a half stars.

Although the seller I got the PS1 from didn't package this item properly at all. This thing works great showing that this little system can take a hit and keep going. Also, the picture quality (despite the small screen) looks fantastic. And really, there's nothing better than being able to take some classic PS1 games with you wherever you go. Overall great system, great entertainment. Buy if you love PS1 games.

I used to play this game at work, it reminded me of my childhood. I still have this machine, but I almost never play it. Although it works well, there have never been any problems.

Sound: LOUD! The speakers are amazing. Fidelity is fine for the size of the product. It conveys the essentials. Video: Not bad, I thought it would be worse, but I read everything perfectly. I play a lot of RPGs with scrolling text like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Parasite Eve, Final Fantasy etc so readable text is a must.
