Sound: LOUD! The speakers are amazing. Fidelity is fine for the size of the product. It conveys the essentials. Video: Not bad, I thought it would be worse, but I read everything perfectly. I play a lot of RPGs with scrolling text like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Parasite Eve, Final Fantasy etc so readable text is a must. Mechanical Sound: I read some other reviews about mechanical sound, the rotation makes too much noise. I have to disagree regarding my experience with the product as mine is pretty quiet. Compatibility: PS2 controllers didn't work for me. The PS Dualshock controller worked in several games. All my games worked on the system. Accepts only Playstation memory cards. Unfortunately, I don't have a battery for it, so I can't rate the battery life, but I'm pretty happy with what I have.
