These cables are perfect, not easy to replace but with the right tools and a little patience they do the job for a reasonable price. If you don't have a breaker, stay away.

These cables fit perfectly. Installation is a little tedious, but that's the fault of the GM designers (the factory cables are riveted in place), not the replacement cables. Anyone with a little common sense and basic hand tools should be able to make this swap. If you don't understand the mechanics, it's better to consult a mechanic.

Works exactly as it should. They are OEM length and appear to be OEM quality. These people who leave less than 5 star reviews are jerks who had no idea what they were getting into and therefore couldn't identify with their lack of skills. Watch a YouTube video of what you need to do to replace the tailgate cables on your truck, in this case a 99 s10. Any replacement will require cutting out the old one. If it took these people 30 seconds to research this, I'm sure you wouldn't see 1 star…
