At least it's starting!

Restarted, needs fuel mixture adjustment. Some sticky parts that need better factory deburring but not bad for the price.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • OK

Works great on my 2008 WR450F

Works great on my 2008 WR450F just don't mess with the throttle position sensor. When you're done, it's easy to troubleshoot if you have a voltmeter.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Some bugs

Wow. - Fuel system

Very impressed for the price. Basically plug and play for my 2003 yz450f. I just entered 158 IJ and 38 PJ and they work fine at 7000ft. Insert the needle 3ed from the tip into the clamp.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • old

Great carb best for bikes and powersports

Bought to fit a 99 yz400f. If you have considered this exchange, do so. Easy to replace, minimal setup required. Carb came in and launched the second punch. Much better than the leg breaker I originally had

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Legacy model

The pig is grunting again!

After five failed attempts to clean the stock carburettor, I bet on this new version of the 450. The stock carburetor on my 1998 400F just wouldn't budge. Two kicks after installation and a slight adjustment of the idle screw and she grunted again. Spent countless hours and about $100 fixing the stock carburetor. farts!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Interval

Great ride for 2 weeks.

The carb worked fine on my yz400f. Previously, the bike had to be launched under the full moon, pedaled for half an hour and sung to the bike gods. Now 1-3 hits with cold and it will work. (Hot is another story but it's a 400. That would be a 5 star rating but lately the carburetor is overflowing with gas. I turn on the faucet and 30 seconds later the gas is pouring out of the lines as the The bowl fills up.. It's like something like a needle valve is stuck, but I'm no carb specialist to say…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Surprisingly enough

Hi everyone, this is the owner of a 99 WR400. Anyone with this year's yz or wr400 knows that the factory carburetor is a piece of shit with a mind of its own. I was hesitant to buy this because I don't like buying Chinese parts for my bike. The installation process was relatively easy, other than the fact that I had to get creative with the throttle cables. Also, my factory boots struggled with the carburetor washer. With strength and determination I finally installed it. Launched after 3 hits.

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • No instructions
