Poorly made for party supplies

This horn is poorly made from cheap plastic. The mouthpiece is broken and very sharp. The horn itself is curved, not straight as shown in the picture. Very disappointed with this product.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Defective

poor craftsmanship on party supplies

I bought this because it was cheap. I previously bought another brand. This was of poor quality and was torn when received. Even when assembled this is not a good horn at all. Get another one

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Nothing here

Thin flimsy plastic for party supplies

Upon opening the package the horn was slightly and permanently bent at both ends. This horn is made out of very thin and flexible plastic and although it sounds loud it is obviously cheap. We don't think it's worth $5.99. Looks more like something from a dollar store.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Functionality

You get what you pay for

I bought this mostly on a whim - I was curious what one of these horns looked like and how it sounded. I was surprised at how compact it folds down to half its full length. The plastic is fairly thin and flexible, but strong enough. It can be noisy depending on how much noise you can bring in. I love how at the right frequency it makes your chest grow a little. Happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • No performance

I hate it but my son likes it

I hate it but my son likes it. Aside from sneaking up behind me and scaring me to death, he enjoys using it at school soccer games. I can hear it across the soccer field, so that's enough. It slides out in size so you can easily carry it in your backpack to games. Great for team spirit but make sure you have earplugs handy if you have a mischievous one on hand. And don't forget that this department is a two-way street. :-)

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Was damaged

Great sound for the price

Great Sunday school props for kids. We needed "horns" for the biblical story Jesus Nun and the Walls of Jericho. I bought different colors. The kids loved blowing the horns and crashing into the big cardboard city of Jericho. Note: This is not a horn, this is a sound amplifier. If you just blow in, nothing happens. I taught the children to lick their lips, smile widely, shut their lips tightly, and blow. The sound from her lips increases to a rather loud noise. This is the same basic principle…

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Slim design but noisy.

i would rather have an inseparable type like i had as a child, but better than nothing. Green and yellow in particular are needed, the most commonly available on the local market are black and red. The plastic profile used here gives a thinner horn than desired ie a little 'soft' especially around the mouthpiece. I remember the one I had as a kid was very thick and not malleable. However, they blow loudly and sound about the same. I'm not sure I like the two-piece folding design (maybe it's…

Handy doodad - Party Supplies

I don't know how to rate it because I don't know how to use it but. It looks like the picture and has not been destroyed yet. I gave it to my elementary school son who said "it doesn't work because it doesn't make noise" but I don't think he got it right. sorry not sure He amused himself using it as a sword, gun, bat, Nerf dart deflector, plastic golf club with ping-pong ball, and as a conversation piece (something like a megaphone, I think). He's also banged it against metal stands to make…

  • It's OK!

If you fall and can't get up

I bought this item for one of my co-workers. He was turning 60 and I wanted to do something different to make him feel old. Joking aside about him riding a T-Rex and herding animals into Noah's Ark, I figured that was just what he needed. Remember this is all fun and he had a blast doing it all. I tied a rope around this horn and gave it to him. When he asked what that was, I replied that it was not only a hearing aid but also an alarm clock. All he had to do was hang it around his neck, and if
