These are great shoes in every way. They fit my son as expected and he wears them everywhere. Ideal for running, tree climbing, fence climbing, jumping over or in puddles, bike trading, lugging from store to store, etc.

My 10 year old son loves these shoes but the front of the sole came off after the first day of wearing. I'm not sure if we'll get them back, but that shouldn't happen with any shoe; shows the inferior bonding of the black sole to the shoe body and the inferior quality of the black sole itself, which broke even after being peeled off - after 1 (one) day of regular use.

After trying on millions of shoes for my active 7 year old, we finally found this one. He is very happy with that. He says it's very comfortable and soft, and the laces stay open when he double-knots them. They are also easy to turn on and off. You look great too. Other shoes he had, he complained about at least one thing, if not more, that bothered him. This is the first shoe that is 100% comfortable, functional and of high quality. Definitely worth the price.
