I bought this not long ago but I have to say I really like this humidifier. I use it in my bedroom at night and it's on the nightstand next to my bed. It works very well and really helps increase the humidity in my room when I'm sleeping. I had one of these and my daughter put some essential oil in it or got "old water" in it and the mist smelled awful. (By the way, don't add anything but water and try to remember to drain the standing water from both pieces to let it dry.)
