When I attempted to mold the first tray, I placed it in a boiling cup of water as directed and it melted and stuck to itself in 5 seconds. When I tried to separate the pieces, they crumbled into a sticky lump. For the second tray, I let the water cool and then put the tray in for only about 4 seconds and I was able to successfully shape the tray. I really only needed one I think but they are a bit flimsy.

Decent for the price. You do the work. 3-5 seconds in hot water (as stated) caused the first one to shrink straight into a small rubber ball with no way of escaping. I was more careful with the second one and it seems that even if you heat it to the point where it becomes flexible, it still doesn't "form" or "mold" fully. Even after reheating and reshaping. However, I use them constantly with Dr. Song Whitening Gel and it seems to be working fine. B+

I bought these splints to work with the whitening gel which didn't come with them but was required for use. They were easy to use and the instructions were clear. The first attempt to blind her was unsuccessful, but reshaping her was easy. If the instructions are read and followed, this is an easy product to use and works well.

I love this product! I needed a mold for my lower teeth as I already have an upper mouthguard with whitening gel. However, I liked them so much after customizing them that I prefer them now! works. Just drop them in boiling water for a second and put them in your mouth immediately. If you leave them in boiling water for too long they will melt and you won't be able to make the shape. If you don't get them into your moth quickly, the mold will become a real mess. If you got it down, you're good. If you mess them up, they can be bought cheaply and shipping is fast.

Very good product! It was packed in a small four-compartment zipper bag, which is very convenient to use. Followed instructions exactly and they were awful. There was a large protrusion on the top tray that covered my roof of the mouth and another large protrusion that partially covered my tongue on the bottom tray. They don't stick to the teeth at all and there is actually a large gap between the mouthguard and the teeth. Instructions included: Boil water and immerse tray for 5-15 seconds. DO NOT DO THAT! After reading so many reviews about how quickly they turn into an unusable mess, I want to suggest a better approach. The first two I tried using this method came out perfect. Do not fully boil the water! Turn the burner to 5 or half and wait a few minutes for a few bubbles to appear - this water temperature is MORE THAN ENOUGH.
