Followed instructions exactly and they were awful. There was a large protrusion on the top tray that covered my roof of the mouth and another large protrusion that partially covered my tongue on the bottom tray. They don't stick to the teeth at all and there is actually a large gap between the mouthguard and the teeth. I had to trim them severely on both the gumline and ridges as the bulkiness caused a gag reflex. I have used heat mold products in the past and they have been of much better quality. I would recommend spending a little more on trays to get a better quality product. I read many reviews of this product before purchasing it and it seemed to work for many other customers. I'm not entirely sure why my result was so different. One last thing, the bottom mouthguard doesn't cover the back of my teeth like the top one does.
