I color and highlight my hair every six weeks, so it's important to use a good quality shampoo and conditioner for colored hair. It keeps my hair color between visits and keeps my hair from drying out. I live in Colorado, where it's SO dry, so that's very important. I highly recommend it. I have been using this brand for many years but I use different formulas. My hair is fine and I get gray hairs. I notice that my gray hair is drier, more fragile and I have more breakage compared to my normal hair. So I switched from a hydrate formula to alternate strength and hydration formulas. It works fine, fewer failures. love them both

This shampoo has a very strong smell which is very different from when I buy it from Ulta. I have the feeling that this is not really a purely natural product. The licensed store does not have this overly strong scent. It was filled with a cheaper product. In addition, it is very drying, which is not the case with a normal product.
