PureOs - A great alternative from Microsoft

It provides security to our devices in an efficient way; it also has its own desktop environment which makes things easy for us as administrators who are not familiar or comfortable with other OS's like windows etc. There is nothing that I dislike about this product because everything works well so far. If you're looking for something secure then go ahead but if just want stability then there should be some alternatives available too instead of going for pureos only. We use PUREOES primarily…

Pros
  • Easier deployment
  • Updating/rollback processes very easily.
  • Good GUI experience when compared against KVMs:
  • Simple installation procedure through yum repo manager, no issues!:)
Cons
  • Lack off documentation at times
  • Not working over SSH connection

Very helpful antivirus/firewall protection

It's easy to use and has many options for customization. I also like that it is very easy to install add-ons or apps from other sources. It has many features for security, but some of them can be slow at times. This application can be used in different ways. Some people may not know how to use it, but once they figure out how it works, it's great! Keeps me protected from viruses, malware and phishing sites. I like that PureOS is lightweight and fast. It's easy to set up and use, and it has…

Pros
  • Security
  • Easy setup & configuration (especially if you don't want too much bloatware)
  • PerformanceIt runs well under all conditions/conditions including virtualbox environments.
  • Ease Of InstallationThe installation process was straight forward as far i'm concerned.
  • No need fo extra drivers because everything gets installed automatically by default
  • Can make full customized live disk images so no more waiting around when something breaks
Cons
  • It is hard to say

I like that it uses only free software (as best as possible). It also seems to be very easy to use and has some pretty cool features such as custom desktop widgets for your home screen which can give you real-time updates about things going on in public while you're out traveling or doing other tasks. So far so good! In terms of security, since everything runs through ClamAV, there really isn't anything else I need to worry about here. Also, using this instead of Android means there's no chance

Pros
  • Very lightweight
  • Easy setup process with minimal configuration required.
  • Excellent support community.
  • Works great under VMWare Fusion/Workstation too
  • Great performance even when not virtualized
  • Secure by default; nothing installed unless specifically requested
  • Full disk encryption included if desired
  • Fully scriptable via command line
Cons
  • I don't really have any dislikes about this, everything is just fine
