I have always trusted Purolator filters in my cars. I installed a cabin air filter on a 2017 Honda Accord LX and the air coming in from the outside has never been fresher.

This is a well made 3 layer filter. Also, it was the only one I could find that wasn't made in China. Mine was made in Mexico and my friend's in the Czech Republic.

I installed this on my 2019 Honda Accord Touring Hybrid it was very easy to install after watching a short tutorial video. Fit perfectly with no problems. I'll update as needed, but for now this seems to help.

I've been using Purolator filters for a long time and they seem to do their job well. This is the first cabin filter change on my 2016 odyssey and it really was a must. It's amazing how many things come into it. I will monitor the airflow to make sure the filter is not restricting it and I agree it should be changed at least every 12 months depending on driving frequency and conditions. It's too easy and quick not to do it.

Edit: Purolator is currently wondering whether the flow direction on the cabin filter is reversed. It's exactly the same as my old man filter MCF 1008 except the yellow filter is on the bottom. Top is white/grey. (it's upside down compared to the old man filter). Either the direction of the airflow was broken or something else. Great environment, the filters don't make the system blow 50% of the total airflow, smell great and by far the Mann/Now Purolator filters are now the best you can get if
