I unpacked it, connected it to the speaker and plugged the power cord into an outlet. Then I connected the USB to play music. It plays music for about 2 seconds and stops. I tried many times to get it to play but it only plays about 2 seconds at a time. Never seen anything like this!

Not as advertised excellent customer service advised me to contact Revain and send back. The handle fell off on the second day! I have excellent speakers, but the sound is not sterile surround sound. Bought this as a replacement as my Pyle 2x40 was obsolete and the volume controls in them were starting to get static. My speakers now distort after about 50% volume (good). I will not upgrade my speakers, they are loud enough at 50% volume. :) It's nice that I only have to set the thing to 50% instead of 100% with my old one, which no longer produced maximum volume. Based on Pyle's actions over the past few days I have come to the conclusion that their sales model is rubbish, basically bought and replaced with little to no support or warranty! I cannot put into words how much I love this product. I only bought it to use as an amplifier to connect my iPhone to a Pandora radio, but I also liked the multiple input and output options. I bought this amp a few weeks ago. This is a good amp for the price. The only problem is that the speaker wire connectors (2) are designed for very thin speaker wire. While the amp is capable of producing very good sound, we all know that pushing a good speaker requires a thicker cable, especially when distance is an issue. I have had several Pyle amps over the years and most have worked well. I was using the PTAU45 to power a couple of speakers and when nothing was playing I heard a grating static noise. I unplugged everything but the speakers and still had the problem. It turned out that the interference was coming from the microphone output circuitry. Received this unit as expected. It felt solid and well built, and was pretty easy to set up. Connected the speaker to my subwoofer and then to 8 ohm speakers. So far, so good. I can't figure out why they come with 4 ohm outputs as 4 ohm requires better parts to handle the extra current. Rating or calling it 2x120 is a joke at best.
