I was about to install this but didn't have a sensor drill with me and the sensor wires are less than four to six feet so I only paid $100 to install and all they can do is put in a monitor and it is hardly possible. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do?

I have already checked and am changing my rating. The initial problem I had was caused by a bad cable connector. I changed it and it works pretty well. The popup function stops working after 3 weeks. Good camera but shipped downgrade due to defective hardware and pop up spring stopped working. Work with it manually and it's worth it.

The camera works great most of the time, but not so well when it's raining. "Warnings" are useless. You must be within 1-2 feet for them to beep. Too close to be useful. And when it rains, it squeaks constantly when reversing. But it didn't cost much and it was the only one I found so I'm fine with that. Installed on a 15 year old pickup truck. I like the camera, but don't rely on the beep to keep you from crashing into something. Follow the camera!

I'm crazy. I spent four hours loading this into my truck. It doesn't work, the screen won't turn on no matter what I do. I connected all the cables according to the instructions and checked the power supply every which way I could. The price was certainly reasonable and the cables were long enough, which bothered me. The video is clear and helpful. There may be some improvements. When I first turned it on, there was some image noise on the monitor (it looked like Chinese writing). I won't buy anything from this seller again. The backup system monitor stopped working after a day. The camera works great and looks good. The monitor is made of thin plastic and comes with a ribbon cable that allows the monitor to be slid from its closed position. This cable is very thin. I connected another monitor to the system and the system worked proving that the monitor was the failed component. I contacted Revane and the seller to have the monitor replaced. Got it, easy enough to install. If you're doing it on a truck like I am, the video cable isn't enough for me. Easy repair with about 3ft extension and adapter. Be sure to buy this when you get this kit. The two main things that just burn me is a cheap hole saw they sent in the kit. I broke a little and a complete F'ed, put my chrome bumper on my bumper.
