later. Records sound only intermittently. It's extremely frustrating to have to do a test recording and check if it works only to have no sound on the next recording. The microphone input is terrible - your voice is barely audible and is completely covered by the audio when recording audio. Avoid this at all costs. For little more you get a device that actually works. I regret spending money on this scam.

I had many problems writing to SD card, blank files, corrupted files and the like. Also, there is some per-pass flickering when recording the cvbs signal, but there is no flickering in the output files. I've found that I no longer have file issues when I write to a USB stick instead of an SD card.

This device is exactly what I wanted and needed. But after recording several hours of video, I quickly found that only half of the files had sound. Extremely inconsistent; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and you won't know until you've stopped recording and verified that the file was even written. Compatibility is limited to just a few file systems. The USB port stopped reading the device after a few weeks of use. The driver software is on a mini CD which is not compatible with most PCs.
