Pyrex 7200-PC Blue Round 2 Cup Storage Lid for Glass Bowls (1, Blue) - Efficient and Durable Kitchen Storage Solution Review

I'm not sure if this is a quality issue with the batch my lids came from but I'm disappointed to see that after just under a month of use some of the lids have cracked at the seam too does anyone else have a problem like this?

Spares kit purchased in April 2019. In less than a year all covers are brittle. The original caps lasted several years before needing to be replaced with the same level of use and handling. I've tried contacting both Pyrex and the seller to no avail.

Not bad. They feel different than the original blue caps that came with my Pyrex; They still have a lot of flexibility, but they feel a little stiffer, a little more brittle, less rubbery. However, they work well and I like that the red color now makes it easy to choose the right size.

After looking at most of the 2 cup storage lids at Revain I decided on this one because I thought it was a great price for FOUR lids in the color I love liked best. I was so WRONG! Tried to return it to get 4 packs for $8.95 but had to pay over $6 to ship it back. It's not worth it. What a waste of money and unfair that they packaged this ONE LID in 4 packs. I'm usually very careful when buying, that's why I'm so angry that I got robbed.

The lids that originally came with my Pyrex bowl started to crack (they were orange in color). Not sure if this is general wear and tear over time or maybe because I usually wash them in the dishwasher. Anyway, I needed replacement lids because I use Pyrex bowls all the time. I bought these lids (dark blue) for my 2 cup/470ml round bowls (7200A). They fit perfectly and work great! I would definitely buy them again if my eyelids would burst again after a few years.

Before I ordered these replacement lids, all the lids for my glass jars were blue, so I had to reach into a drawer and pull out 3 or 4 lids before I found the right size. Now I know that all red lids are for 2 cup containers. And I also bought one cup size and they are green and I also bought four cup sizes and they are still blue but now each size has a different color cap so you can easily find what you are looking for. This looks like a counterfeit PYREX product. These lids are tough and sturdy, and are made of a different plastic than the actual product. Real eyelids are softer and smoother. Even at room temperature there is a difference. . Genuine lids have a paragraph on the underside with safety instructions and data embossed on the lid, as well as the PYREX logo and "Made in America" on the underside. I'm so glad Revain has Pyrex replacement caps! We use our Pyrex A LOT; in the refrigerator and in the closet, for different needs, so our lids wear out a lot, they are taken off and put back on. These are the ONLY remaining containers we use. I love that Pyrex is made of glass and we feel so much more comfortable using it for storing leftovers, among other things. Our lids always wear out. In our case, only one of the glass bowls broke off over time. New caps are required from time to time…
