Broke after 5 minutes in the oven

Dishes broke on first use. I took it out of the box, washed it, dried it and placed it in the oven next to another Pyrex dish. This new one broke after about 5 minutes in the oven. I noticed that the logos on the bottom of each dish were different, leading me to believe that this seller's dish is fake. The logo was very simple and blocky, not like any other dish. Wasted food, time and money.

Defective Bakers & Casserole Cookware

When I received this cookware last year, I noticed a visible seam where the glass pieces came together on one of the handles. I didn't think about it at the time. But today, while washing the dishes, I found a shard of glass in my hand. The seam on one of the handles is uneven, glass splinters break off. I am very unhappy that this is happening. I've only had this dish for a year. I have many other Pyrex products and have never had a problem. Maybe I was just unlucky and got bad dishes?

You can probably find the same item a bit cheaper elsewhere, but other than that I have no criticisms and would recommend it to others. Pyrex holds up to abrasive pads fairly well (but I wouldn't recommend steel wool), which is important because over time you'll be baking on grease etc. You shouldn't cook with it on the…
