I love Pyrex storage with lid. This is a good size for storing individual servings and reheating in the oven or microwave.

I need more storage I need more storage for groceries and it suits me for groceries that were too big for my small units. I like rectangular storage cabinets over round ones and prefer glass over plastic.

This review is based on old style lids that are sloppy. They are not spill/leak proof, the seal is not very good and they are prone to cracking/brittle plastic. Nice pants to be honest. You can easily buy a versatile glass food storage product for less money and with a better experience.

The container is excellent. Bought as a gift to use with a portable oven and also bought a plug converter to use in the truck. Bought for my dad and father in law as they work as truck drivers and appreciate the fact that they can now eat hot meals during their night shifts.

I am replacing all plastic food containers with glass containers. This is used and works great. I add leftover chicken, veggies, and rice and keep it in the fridge. Works great and easy to clean. If you don't fill it to the top, you can also protect the plastic lid from food. Although it's BPA-free, they found that substitute plastic isn't good for us either, but it's not banned in the US, so I try to keep ALL plastic products out of my food.
