My old Pyrex storage lids appear to be about 20 years old. The edges are "worn" and one panel has cracked in two. Not bad for a 20+ year old. I think these pretty and useful tops can serve the same purpose.

This is the perfect replacement lid for our glass bowls. We have decided to replace all of our plastic containers to remove chemicals from our food. We found Pyrex better than other brands. These pyrex cases replace other brands' torn cases.

Mapping Pyrex class containers to the correct vertices is a chore! the pyrex part associated with the lids is completely out of order. Therefore, sellers must also be confused. I finally gave up looking for a buyer. Manually write a list of caps = how many cups to avoid confusing yourself. Other than that they were exactly as described at a great low price, like new quality from Pyrex. They look and feel better than the lids I originally bought with glass.

The lids are perfect for my Pyrex set. However, many caps stretch after a short time. After only a few months of use, I had to cover the bowls with wax paper to keep the lids closed. It seems that after a short period of time, the eyelids have stretched. I always wash and dry the lids by hand, so that's not my negligence. When wax paper no longer helps keep the lids closed I'll probably ditch the pyrex kits and switch to another brand. My less expensive Rubbermaid lids have lasted several years

Update 6/5/2019: DO NOT USE IN MICROWAVE. One of the lids melted in the microwave. I heated the pasta bowl for 2 minutes. Of course it was too long for the pasta which was very hot but the pasta didn't burn and the lid melted around the edges. I had to throw it away. This is not a sealed lid that can be purchased from the Pyrex website. The versions on the company website are more durable but more expensive, have shipping costs, but you can buy Pyrex wooden lids if you want to lessen the impact
