The strong double lid set in this set ensures glass containers will not outlast their useful life. Some force is required to remove stuck covers. If only glass containers could be made from safety glass.

Convenient size for snacks and small leftovers. The great thing is that they come with two sets of caps. Lids tend to crack after a few years and that will definitely help.

I use these instead of plastic for a number of reasons. They're small, but they're great for a small portion of leftover soup. I also use them for sauces, chopped veggies, and just about anything. They freeze well, reheat in the microwave and are dishwasher safe.

I bought them to cook my little dog's food for a week while on vacation. It has become much easier for the nanny to feed my dog. She just removed the baby and my dog was able to eat right out of the jars. Also great for storing small leftovers, baby food and sauces.

I bought a set of these a few years ago to use as a butter dish. My sister-in-law thought the idea was great, so I shared it with her. We both have dishwashers but even using the top shelf the top cracked. This set of extra lids gives us a new oil or storage utensil with a lid.

These bowls have worked flawlessly so far. Durable glass is ideal for portioning. I usually use them for yogurt, nuts and berries. If they contain liquid I wouldn't put them on their side or upside down. Sealing is good, but not that good. Also, do not leave the lids in the microwave as the heat will turn them inside out and render them unusable. The extra lids make up for this when needed. I've dropped them on hard surfaces and have never had a chip on the glass.

This Pyrex cookware is great. I received them as in the photo - 6 plates with 12 lids in two colors. They are perfect for storing my cat's wet food which she eats 1/2 a can at a time. I ordered a set of 1 cup with 6 pieces with blue lids and an additional 6 green lids. I did not receive the green caps in the package. Note that they may not send these to you. It looks like Revain did this so it's not the seller's fault unless the items were labeled properly, it's Revain's fault. Order has been replaced.
