A Must-Have Tool for Jewelry Making!

As an enthusiast of Arts and Crafts, I recently stumbled upon this tool and it has proven to be a game-changer. Based on my observations, this monitor helps in achieving accurate firing temperatures, reducing guesswork and resulting in perfect bead and jewelry making. Pros include accurate temperature readings, easy to use and suitable for a variety of ceramic projects. The only con is that it's slightly pricey, but it's definitely worth the investment if you're dedicated to your jewelry making

Pros
  • Accuracy in monitoring temperature during ceramic firings
Cons
  • No automatic

Try individual cones

Not the Orton cones I usually use. You have to break these. You are not easy. Too thick. The break is too easy. Could you get half of these to work? I can only hope. Waste of money if they keep breaking.

Pros
  • Most accurate method of controlling ceramic firing Consistent results
Cons
  • No instructions

They are what they say

. Bought Orton 06 small cones to biscuit fire in my manual kiln. Worked great and the good thing is they are now made in pairs, this time I didn't have any broken cones. You just have to disassemble them into parts yourself.

Pros
  • Please note cones can be supplied in pairs which will need to be separated. There are 25 sets in a box, divided into 50 cones. This is done by the manufacturer to reduce the number of broken cones during shipping.
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
