GLI style shift knob looks and feels cool

Nice updated look of the original 2001 shift knob in my 2001 Wolfsburg Jetta! Minimal installation tools and basic mechanical skills are required.

Pros
  • 🌸Easy Installation ----- Directly fits, easy to install. Remove (twist, unscrew) the old shift knob. Then put the handle back into the machine.

Great for the price!

Great item for the price, shift knob seems a little cheaper than OEM but looks great, wanted something cheap temporarily and I was fed up with dirty OEM knob and boot. Lots of YouTube videos on installation.

great fit, great view.

I liked the fit and functionality, however the included locking ring doesn't have enough clamping area to tighten it properly. I recommend gently prying out the original with a wedge screwdriver to pry it off and reuse it.

The plastic trim is a bit cheap but looks nice. The shift knob then feels much nicer.

You can't beat the price! The plastic trim is a bit cheap but looks nice. The shift knob feels much nicer than the factory one, feels better in the hand. It took me 5 minutes to install.

Arrived in good condition and put on

The trunk fitted right where the stick was, the only problem I had was that the handle could move sometimes and the package was late but I think that's my postman. would recommend.
