I bought this little pup for Tailgaters treatment. those annoying little people who like to ride right on your rear bumper. Now when I get my tailgater, I just tap the brake lightly and this little pup shines like a diamond! The strobing and flickering effect instantly scares the truckers as they slam on the brakes and almost instantly fall 200ft behind me where they should have been! What a great inexpensive machine this is!

I installed this in a brake light on a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 500. It took me a few minutes to make sure I had the right wires. Then I used 4 wire speed splicers and was almost done. Both black wires can be connected to the same ground that goes to the brake light and tail light. Then unplug the connector that goes to the brake light and connect the red wires to each end. Although the current goes *through* the turn signal, neither LEDs nor traditional bulbs will flash. They simply work stably and reliably. Garbage and waste of $10. I'm sticking with slightly larger strobes with potentiometers to adjust flash speed. With good results I just wanted something with a slightly smaller footprint.

So after the first installation the thing was temperamental. Plugged in just right (I've used it many times) and the module will hyperflash the LED until I release the brake and apply it a second time, only after I apply the brake twice does it work as intended, ok I believe that LED brake light failed because the entire high mounted brake light burned out. Now I have to replace the whole lamp. I will definitely not be installing this module again, I know I took a risk with the cheaper ones so…
