I installed this in a brake light on a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 500. It took me a few minutes to make sure I had the right wires. Then I used 4 wire speed splicers and was almost done. Both black wires can be connected to the same ground that goes to the brake light and tail light. Then unplug the connector that goes to the brake light and connect the red wires to each end. Make sure you connect the input cable to the input cable and the output cable to the output cable. Flashes 4 times very quickly. Then flashes 4 times after approx. one second. separately. Then it stays.
