Due to the materials used, this costs $5 at best. Yes it works, but it will break just as easily as a standard if you apply force when it's "locked" and then it won't lock again. Unusable as a lock box.

I bought this just for the key, the tray sits on the shelf as a constant reminder that I overpaid for a single keg key , and also reminds me not to lose this one.

Bought a used TVS-471 that was missing the drive bay keys and a former employee of the previous owner used the wrong screws when replacing the drive. This tray comes with the screws I need and a couple of keys. A pair of keys alone would cost as much as this set. Absolutely worth your money!

This tray comes with extra screws and works great. I love that it came with a key as I lost the key and broke the tray so it could replace the failed drive. That's why I ordered it haha.

I use them in QNAP TS-563 because the factory drive bays don't have enough ventilation. So far, these fans have lowered my drive temperature by 8 degrees Celsius and reduced seek noise on my QNAP. These trays come with 2 keys, 2 different sets of screws and a clear plastic cover that the drive mounts on to reduce seek noise and protect discs from short circuits. Overall these disc trays are very well made and I am happy with the purchase.
