Terrible product: Extension cord

This extension cord lasted less than a week before the sockets started dying. Of the six sockets, only three work and only four USB sockets. Don't waste your money on this product. If you like spending money on cheap products that don't work, then this is for you. This product is made in China and they use different outlets which may be why this product didn't last long.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not sure

I thought I would like it.

I thought it was the answer to all my problems. Then I tried connecting a few things and realized that this is a dead stupid design. The two rows of forks face each other and are fairly close together, which means that if you have two brick-like forks, for example for a hair dryer, you can only mount two forks on them, eliminating the utility of the product due to the shape of the brick. The plug covers so many open spots. Really poorly thought out design.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Little things

8 USB ports! A GREAT IDEA! output power is not.

Great idea to make an extension cable with 8 USB PORTS! It would be even better if the output on these ports was as advertised, 5 volts, 2.4 amps. You are not. My phone, samsung s10+, says it's charging at a rate that doesn't actually charge my phone while in use. In other words, the charging power is MUCH lower. See screenshot from my phone when reading this.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Something different

Interesting guide.

So I bought this and use it connected to a UPS for my three monitors, laptop, router, bridge and cell phone and my Vonage adapter. The instructions say once everything is charged "Disconnect". I don't just use it for charging, so these instructions confuse and scare me at the same time. However, it's a handy thing to be able to combine splitters and organize my electronics better. I like it. If it could handle more power supplies, but it's great at what they were trying to achieve.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • I will be silent
