I bought this to have handy for reading menus in dimly lit restaurants and the like. It works well and seems very affordable. I am thinking of getting a few more, one for the car etc. It would be nice to have a larger version as the optic is only about an inch in diameter.

This was great value for money as it was exactly as described. I use it to check my houseplants for pests. The different magnification levels are very helpful. I also like the small size because you can get as close as you need without the lens getting in the way of the plant like larger magnifiers do.

Having had very good (expensive) Hasting triplets in the past I was very hesitant to buy these for my very picky son who wanted a good loupe for his numismatic hobby. He tried several other loops and gave them up. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something he wouldn't like so we tried this loupe, 10 x 21 Hasting Triplet. The optical quality is actually pretty good and the frame feels solid. I didn't notice any chromatic aberrations and the glass was very clear. We'll see how it performs
