Bent? Wow! To update! Revain quickly replaced him. love it now!

available I don't know how they achieved that given the weight of the metal but mine was bent. To update! Revine replaced mine very quickly. Had a chance to try them on our new Airstream stages yesterday and they are great. I even ordered some higher ones because the ones I have are on level ground almost at the highest point. I figured I could use them when there is some elevation (like a bumpy campsite) and the higher ones for flat or descents. This is to protect me.

Step up with confidence!

Received two RV step stabilizers today and immediately placed them under the steps and bolted them firmly to the step. Wow! Why did I wait so long to buy these stabilizers for my steps? Solid as a rock and I'm sure the steps will take longer now. What I did was cut out a pressure machined 2x6x20" and drilled 6 holes in the stabilizers and then bolted the stabilizers to the board to make it easier for me to set up. I would definitely recommend buying these stabilizers for your RV. I hope so…

Good product but disappointing Revain

About what I expected, solid build although more holes in the base could have been used to mount 2 or more of these on a 2x4 or other (like others did have done). BUT one of the two received has obviously been used (fairly heavy use too - very dirty, with scratches and paint chips on the metal, probably from use of the spanner; will probably rust where they are unless I repaint it). Shame on Revain for reselling something as 'new' when it has obviously been used and then returned! Do not repack

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Volume

Most reviews say you need 1 on each side of the RV steps. The first 2 have arrived; One was nice and flat and the other was welded on at an angle, not square and flat so there was no way of hitting a flat surface. WELL; Make a return by 1 and keep the one that's good. This time I ordered 1 piece. It came the next day and of course I was unlucky and got another curve. I can leave that for a day and see if the curves work. Mostly this seller does not have any quality control or parts inspection…

Great addition to stairs.

I ordered one at first but on second thought I added another to use two and they arrived at the same time. I really think they should only sell them in pairs because I don't think using just one is a good idea. I took an idea from another reviewer and attached it to 2x6 so the spacing would be equal and easier to adjust. The nice thing is that this actually reinforces the bottom tier, and the downside of my setup is that it didn't affect the downward force from the next tier to the actual…
