Does what it's supposed to; keeps your mittens warm. Here in New York the temperature hasn't dropped below 32 degrees in mid-November, but so far it's enough for my commute. They are small enough to fit in a jacket pocket. I haven't tried the text messaging feature, but they seem a little unwieldy to mess around with the iPhone a lot.
