Description of Quilter`S Invisible Monofilament Monofilament Transparent

QUALITY MATERIAL: The thread is made from 100% nylon monofilament thread, waterproof, pliable, and non-stretch. This stuff is strong to hold, hard to break, and machine washable and dryable. Need a tool when cutting (not included). SPOOL SIZE: The roll of 4380 yards white invisible thread 0.0039 IN or 80D thickness which is almost invisible. It does not tangle and negates the need to match fabric colors. The thread is easier to knot than a fishing line. ALMOST INVISIBLE: Because the thread is nearly invisible, which makes your things seem to be suspended, adding beauty and mystery to your home. It is perfectly used for quilting, sewing, hemming, seaming, hanging light-weight decorations, embroidery, and even photos. EASY TO WORK: This thread is hand or machine sewing compatible, not tangled, easy to find thread ends. The clear fishing wire is relatively easy to knot and thick enough to see while you are working with it, while there is practically invisible indirect light or against a white background. VARIOUS CRAFTS: The thread is suitable for hanging balls, ornaments decor, paper cranes, pumpkin balls, and paper lanterns during Halloween, Christmas, or even in daily life. It is great for hair weaving and attaching hair extensions or wigs. It can also be applied to make bracelets, necklaces, and handicrafts.

Disappointing transparent thread for crafting

This thread was a letdown for my Arts and Crafts projects. As my tests showed, it is not truly transparent and can be seen against some lighter fabrics. While it does have some strength to it the fact that it is not actually invisible makes it a poor choice for delicate work..

Pros
  • Has some strength
Cons
  • Not transparent enough

Very thin and fragile

It is so-so thin. Thin, like a thin strand of hair. Easy to break. If you only need it for sewing sequins or appliques, a good choice. Otherwise no. He's too fragile!

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Very expensive
