Funny gadget

Just in time. Fun little gadget. Works exactly as advertised. The only issue I might have is that I have very arthritic hands, so constantly turning is uncomfortable. Thank goodness my youngest made it, although she was tired too.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Only available in white

Buy 2 just in case

I really liked this spiralizer. I used it every day for a week and then it broke. Not sure if it was the quality or if I got a bad batch but I bought another one and haven't had any issues since! This is a great substitute for pasta!

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Easy maintenance

Only 2 editions are suitable for graters, peelers and slicers

I only have two problems with this product 1) brushing small teeth (small brush helps little) and 2) I waste a lot of vegetables because I have to cut off the pointy end and start over, so I spend about 1/4 of everything, what i use. Another thing I like the product and I would recommend it.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Design issue suitable for kitchenware and gadgets

I could live without this kitchen tool. There is a design issue - I can't find a good way to hold/squeeze the veg in one hand and rotate the veg with the other. In addition, fruit/vegetables should contain fat, as shown in the picture. Thin vegetables like carrots are difficult to turn, the pin on the 'last slice' lid doesn't fit the pointed ends of the carrots, leaving what needs to be turned by hand. I may not use this tool as much as I thought I would.

Pros
  • Review for one year
Cons
  • Modern

Everything is fine - it may need to be replaced soon.

I'm glad I didn't buy it when it was $15 or I'd be really upset. I waited for it to drop to $5.99. Works well but one of the silver handles on the side broke off on first use. Luckily I was able to put it back on, but this incident told me it wasn't done well. I'm not sure how long this will take, but I won't sleep at night since I paid the lower price. It's also a bit difficult to clean.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Hard to say

Difficult to use in mandolins and planers

You get what you pay for. Yes, it spirals, but the first time around it took so much effort to rotate and get the zucchini into the blades that I felt it was more worth just shelling out the hand-cranked ones the product stops for you instead. This is difficult to clean, even with a small wire brush material gets stuck in the gap. This also leaves a fairly large chunk of product at the end as you can only rotate it enough to feel like a waste.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Appearance
