Women's Puffer 🧥 Jacket by Rachel Roy Review

I was traveling in Alaska and needed something to combat the glacier temp. This jacket did it. It was roomy enough to fit a sweater and another layer underneath.

This jacket has plenty of room for your hands. Seems well made and a good heavy duty zip. It's big so I'll wear it when I really need to layer up. But for the price I'm very happy with it. UPDATE: I returned this for the medium size. It fits perfectly! This jacket runs very large. Highly recommended for people with large bust sizes.

The jacket is well made. It was a good price. I have a size 16 "top", a size 14 "other" and a size XL fits me and there is room for a layer at the bottom. The only thing I didn't really like was the fabric inside. thin nylon and the fur "didn't breathe". However, I usually wear natural fabrics, even in coats (heavyweight cotton or wool), so this may seem perfectly acceptable to others. (I sent the jacket back)

I'm glad I have this coat, it's warm and a great length! I love that you can make it as tight or as loose in the center as you like! The picture didn't really indicate that, so that was a nice bonus! The ONLY reason for 3 stars is that the zipper gets caught on the material almost every time I zip it up, which is a bit annoying. Otherwise great coat! I bought 2X and wear size 18/20 for reference!

Can't comment on Rachel Roy's black down jacket as I have the burgundy wool coat! Not exactly what a girl from Florida needs. The jacket was lost for about 8 days and when it finally arrived I was shocked when I opened the package. It's back and hopefully I'll get the black jacket I ordered soon. Mistakes happen and I'm sure Revane will fix them.

Very nice jacket and NOT black! Since I bought it in mid-July, it was 200-300% cheaper than now. That means I paid more for a pedicure with good advice - timing is all I think. And Revain's prices fluctuate A LOT up and down, which I found out recently when I was looking for a birthday present, an item I last checked out at Christmas, which was 40% more than it was then. My first experience with this brand and very positive. This is a very nice and warm winter coat. I was worried it would be big like some reviews said, but it's perfect for thicker tops. I'm XS (ordered XS) and it goes really well with a thicker sweater, which is what I wanted as our winters can get very cold (Midwest). A good quality jacket. I'm the burgundy color and it looks more like black cherry (darker than expected) but I like it. The jacket is larger than expected. I was usually tall but average in this jacket. One minus point for me: there is an odd decorative hook under each elbow on the back of the arm area (? Not sure what it's for). This is shown enlarged in the 3rd picture. This is cumbersome and pointless. Bought it for a great price around $50 so I'll keep it but I don't like the hook. But…
