🔒 FZ-07 Radiator Grille Guard - Protective Grill for Yamaha FZ-07 FZ07 (2013-2018) Review

Bought a bunch of stuff for my wife's FZ-07 and almost didn't buy because I thought it was a bit overpriced. But I'm so glad I did. It makes the bike look a lot better. That huge gray heatsink looks ridiculous and not only improves the look but also keeps rocks and debris out.

Suitable for my 2017 FZ-07. Looks good. The shroud came with rubber strips, I assume the strips are there to prevent vibration noise or to prevent the shroud from hitting the heatsink. In my case, the guard is far enough in front of the heatsink that this isn't a problem. Considering how much it costs I have to give 5 stars.

This product doesn't fit at all out of the box. The openings at the front were completely offset and the side fenders were too wide. It has also been bent down where it touches the headlight. Maybe it has something to do with shipping. I was able to bend and adjust it and it looks great when worn. I can't say anything about the wind yet, I haven't ridden it yet.

Very happy with this purchase so far. Delivery was quick (as you would expect from Revain) and the quality was better than I thought it would be. given that the other top 2 brands are more than double the price of this item. 4 screws later and here is the result. Very nice, simple addition to my FZ. I recommend it to anyone who wants to protect their radiator and improve the tuning of their bike. In my opinion it's worth it.

This is a well made and affordable product that looks and works great on my bike. I live in South Texas and it's pretty hot here in the summer and I drive less anyway so I shoot during the hottest months. This restricts airflow somewhat and takes longer for the heatsink to cool down after you sit in the fixture. The bike averages 175-185° without and 188-205° with it. The electric fan turns on at 208° to keep the bike cool and the bike turns off when it reaches 241°. Installation is easy.

Was looking for something cheap and found it here at Revain. I love the build quality and for the price I couldn't beat it. The only small issue I had was having to tweak it a bit to fit my bike. I have a 2016 FZ-07 and I don't know if it was just my cooler or the product itself. I feel like the grid width was a bit short so it took about 15 minutes instead of 5 but still it's definitely worth buying.

Definitely worth the investment for the money. It protects the car and gives it a nice aesthetic while hiding the ugly gray radiator. However, a slight increase in temperature when idling is to be expected. All in all this is a good product. I wish the "FZ-07" label on the bottom was laser cut and not etched, painted, or vinyl (I didn't pay enough attention to really make out which of the three it was), but it's so small that it won anyway doesn't matter.
