Too bad they are no longer available.

I think I have one of the last ones out there. Great little iron for fine work! The ring in front of the handle ensures that it never tips over on the table.

Pros
  • 20W miniature soldering iron heats up to 460°C (860°F).
Cons
  • Something else

I like the small size of it, although it's not great.

I like this small size although not very good for thick wires as it doesn't heat up enough. 18 gauge or less is all I can handle.

Pros
  • Four brass nibs for burning wood and leather: point nib, universal nib, writing nib and division nib.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Nice small form factor iron

I had an old Radioshack soldering iron with a thick head that was awkward to use for small circuits. It has small heads that are very good at soldering ICs and pins, and the heads were interchangeable. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Three soldering tips: conical, chisel and fine.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
