The rest is good.

as something else like a Railblaz, but I installed it on my Hobie Adventure Island and can't tighten it enough to keep it from moving. The rest is good.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Wrong color best for kayaking

I really want these so I can add rod holders to my hobby H-rails. Now I'm disappointed that they aren't as black as the photos and other product reviews show. Nowhere in the product information did it say there would be any color other than black. Looks like I'll have to shop elsewhere now

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Unreliable

Great product for kayak stability. Pro Angler 14

Perfect match for the Hobie H-Bar. I have a 14 360 Pro Angler and while it's a very stable kayak, oh it's great to have extra gimbals and GoPro cameras attached to it. Good product. I will be installing two more on the port side for the Railblaza cutting board.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Hard to say

Difficult to mount securely to Hobie H-Bar

The unit is fine but it takes a lot of effort to properly mount one of these to the Hobie H-Bar so it doesn't works t slipped off. You will need to use more putty than recommended (included) to tighten any of these. Even with careful tightening, safety remains questionable. I do not think so! If you want to be insured when hooking up to the Hobie H-Bar, spend extra money to buy Hobie products.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Generally good but...
