Vintage Railroad Locomotive Pocket Numerals Review

Great pocket watch with a 6 o'clock hinge that takes some getting used to. The only thing I don't like is that it's too small. Ideal for a woman's or a young man's hand.

Bought this watch for my grandson. He loves trains and I wanted him to have something to teach him how to tell time with analog clocks, which a lot of kids don't learn. The watch looks great and appears to be well made.

Bought for my granddaughter's friend's birthday. He's crazy about anything with trains. He liked the gift. The only thing that kept it from getting five stars is that the hinge and latch on the lid are flimsy and I don't expect them to last long. It's also a lovely pocket watch that would make a great gift for a train-loving child.

This is a great value battery powered watch. So far it has proven to be accurate and durable. I prefer pocket watches to wristwatches, and this is a good example of the former: small enough to fit securely in the palm of your hand, but legible enough to be easy to read. The bar that the chain attaches to is quite strong, as is the chain itself, and both can be roughly pulled out of your pocket without damage. The dial is oriented so that the case's hinge is at a 'six' rather than a 'nine', so…

Very cheap movement, very similar to all these models in this price range, comes with extra battery and chain. The back compartment is difficult to open. Not for watch collectors, but perfect for crazy kid moves or cosplay accessories.

Bought for a 9 year old's birthday. He was so excited that he slept with him and always tells me the time! Reminds me of those sweet moments when a boy was given things that would last a long time and be useful. Thank you for a great experience!
