Paper Under 40 Pounds

I need a thick roll of paper, not thin corkboard paper. I have carefully checked the weight of the paper and it says 40 pounds. Paper. It is NOT twice as thick compared to regular 20lb carbon paper. Feels thinner than 24lb paper. The packaging doesn't claim to be Β£40 paper, but the description CLEARLY does. Do not be fooled. It's flimsy cork paper, 20 pounds at best.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Crumpled Paper

Looks deceptive

I bought this for my 2 year old to draw and color in. I was so skeptical about the thickness of the paper that I taped my child's tabletop with cardboard tape to protect it from markers and oozing paint. Used it every day for a couple of weeks and no spills. I am so attached to this paper now because I doubted it so much and it works so well. Come on, little roll of paper! 10/10 I would buy again!

Pros
  • Kraft paper
Cons
  • Expensive

Using Patterns

I bought this paper to try and make my own patterns from existing clothing items. It's a big roll so I have something to work with if I have to crumple it up and start over! It's not very thick paper, but it's much stronger than tissue paper used for pattern making. It also works to track purchased templates to cut and save as they are too delicate to reuse unless you are very careful.

Cons
  • Unsure
