There is absolutely no online documentation for this device. Does anyone know a suitable replacement part? I'd rather not change the whole fan.

Instructions are impractical and not easy. I had to buy another collar as the one that came with the kit cannot be used with a sloping ceiling. The remote control receiver is too large to fit in a sloping ceiling.

These fans are quiet and produce enough air. I really wish they could be flush mounted properly, but if they were a few inches lower the air would be closer, which would be nice when it's 115 degrees outside this summer. I suspect the blades will hurt if you get under them while moving. I'm 6ft tall and the thought of stretching out and accidentally getting a severed arm scares me a little. Pros: This fan looks good, pretty - that's it! Cons: 1) The blades have a thin foil over the blades. It hurt to take them off. Two of them left sticky marks on the blades. Used class cleaners to get the sticky part off them. Unfortunately there are still some bands. White gloves are included to prevent fingerprints on the blades. The gloves were too big for even my husband's hands and if they don't fit you have no chance of removing the foil from the blades. 2) bad instructions and video. The…
