Very secure attachment: computer and accessories

Really good iPad holder. We use them to hold an iPad on the quad for field mapping. Even the strongest hits that irritate the jaw won't bring down the iPad. Oddly only fast side turns (remember to hit the rumble strips on steroids). If you mount it on anything other than the truck you plan to ride Baja in, it will hold your iPad very securely. And who knows, maybe that's a good thing. The versatility of ball mounts can't be beat.

Works great with iPad 3 in protective case!

We use this RAM-B-138U mount stand on our center console boat and it holds our iPad 3 perfectly in its life-proof case! We use an iPad for our chartplotter and other data with the iNavx app. Very strong fixation, the apparatus, bracket and cradle are definitely not going anywhere! It is very easy to install and remove the tablet from the spring-loaded stand! Great design! The grip is very strong but it takes 2 seconds to eject the tablet. iPad is safe and secure

This is my second boat use ram mount. Both provided strong and reliable support for my iPad. You may be wondering why I use an iPad on a boat. If you enjoy using GPS to navigate the water, the iPad offers a large screen that's easy to use when navigating a boat. Both of my RAM mounts work fine. I bought a second one because I changed the iPad cover and it's a different size.
