We use this RAM-B-138U mount stand on our center console boat and it holds our iPad 3 perfectly in its life-proof case! We use an iPad for our chartplotter and other data with the iNavx app. Very strong fixation, the apparatus, bracket and cradle are definitely not going anywhere! It is very easy to install and remove the tablet from the spring-loaded stand! Great design! The grip is very strong but it takes 2 seconds to eject the tablet. Ideal for non-permanent applications where you need an extremely stable and durable mount. I highly recommend this mount!
