Dyan Reaveley's Art Journaling Guide: Ranger DYA45113 Distinctively Dylusional Review

My pages look great! I have just received the book and magazine and I am delighted with the results. Step by step with pictures it is easy to recreate the image of Diane.

If you are a big fan of Dian Reveley this book should be in your collection; Well, while I like it, this book isn't that great. It's poorly written, and while the pictures are good and help a beginner follow the various techniques, I learned all the techniques in the book - for free - by watching their YouTube videos. So this book is a disappointment and is coming back.

I liked Diane. This is a book promoting Ranger products. That being said, there are many useful techniques that can be done with other materials (but you won't get the same effect with sprays). I liked the stained glass image and plan to use this technique with other shapes/images. I also liked to draw white on black. Good technology and a beautiful layout inspire creativity!

This is not a bad book. He's smart and has some good tips. You can find more on Youtube. For the price, I wasn't impressed with either the quality or the amount of information. Pages in their style, which is good. The book is thin and suitable for beginners. I also wanted to add that some of the things she offers are no longer available, like her ink pad that you can add your own colors to. Now she has her own line of products. The updated book will be useful to those interested.

Dian Reveley's journaling art book is the best of several in my art collection. Her instructions are easy to understand and follow, she simply does what seemed difficult, easy and beautiful. The photos are wonderful and very polished. I have gifted it many times to friends and family who share my high opinion of what Dyan should have and the full range of Dylusions, Dyary and Dyalog products. I highly recommend this book and look forward to more similar books in the future.

I love this book, it's a great guide for aspiring mixed media artists like me. In it, Diane Reveley uses her English humor to explain how to mimic her whimsical design. I kept this book for several months and finally started leafing through it. First, note that this is biased against their products and Ranger products in general. However, of all the Art Journal books I've looked at, this one is the easiest for me to understand. Accessory requires "kitchen roll" = roll of paper towels lol!
