Beautiful but iridescent, not holographic

This is an embossing powder, beautiful but not holographic. I bought it based on another review that included a video that clearly has a real holographic effect. However, the powder I received is an iridescent pink-green color. I've seen online that heating to varying degrees can produce more colors, but as it's a gift I can't test it. I'll happily update this review if the recipient can get the full holographic spectrum, but until then this is a mislabeled product (not uncommon for holographic

Beautiful but only for special projects

The holographic effect is amazing, great for adding glitter to the tops of waves, snow, waterfalls, etc (with an embossing pen). However, the product is very thick and does not lend itself well to stamps with a lot of detail; They look like some pretty interesting inkblots! I know I'll be using this a lot for certain projects and have already received advice and questions about it. I also have a translucent shimmer embossing powder which is much better for detail and is quite pretty but doesn't

Glitter Holographic Powder or Embossing Powder

When I read the word holographic, the word glitter didn't come to mind. If you don't like glitter, you won't like this. If you love glitter then you are in your element! I can't see the holographic view as expected. Instead, it's a white embossing powder with very fine glitter. It looked very well packaged, with cellophane wrap and a second layer of shrink wrap over it. But the bottle still managed to spill some of the contents, so opening the pack I was covered in glitter. This also seems to…

Interesting effect

Pretty nice product actually. I mixed pearlescent powder with a soft acrylic gloss gel and used this mixture to paint a piece of a heavy bow. When it was dry, I glued a piece of very thin handmade abaca paper (which has short colored threads sewn into it) over the gelled side with PVA glue. When that was dry, I applied my stamp embossing medium of choice to the abacus paper, then shook some holographic embossing powder over the stamped image. After removing the excess powder I used a thermal…

It wasn't what I expected at all. I meant more of a silver holographic color, which is something like a transparent/white/pink color. Still, it's nice, just not what I expected. It took forever to ship from China and when I opened it it was all plastic and the powder was everywhere! Now my carpet and I are covered in sequins, probably for next year. and I lost a TON of powder so I didn't even get a full bottle. (See photos) I want it to be more visible and not clear and transparent. It's fairly
