Blend using Ink Blending Tools and Foam (sold separately). Ink pads are 3"x3". Coordinates with the Distress palette. Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pads are a water-reactive dye and pigment ink fusion that create an oxidized effect when sprayed with water.

Great ink to mix

I'm a card maker and I have a hard time mixing ink. But these Distress Oxides make the job a lot easier. The colors are nice, not as bright as normal distress inks. Shipping was fast and arrived safe and undamaged.

Worth a try, especially if you like Tim Holtz's Distress Inks!

I love working with Tim Holtz Distress Ink. I'm a beginner and anything that makes my creations look like they were made by a real artist is a bonus in my book. Distress Oxide Ink is a new line. I've watched YouTube videos and seen the work others have done with it. Unfortunately I'm not enjoying the look or "feel" of this ink at the moment. To me, once dry they are chalky and have a vibrant pastel look. On the pages I asked if others had the same thoughts. It's about 50/50. Some have suggested

Beautiful colors for card backgrounds

I typically make and sell 150-200 greeting cards a year to support our local libraries and I enjoy making my own background art, usually using watercolors. . I found some YouTube videos showing how to use these Distress Oxide Ink Pads to paint backgrounds and decided to give them a try. The crafters in the videos used special tools to stamp this ink, but all I used were crumpled pieces of cling film - one plug for each of the four colors. The creases in the plastic wrap gave the stamped ink anโ€ฆ
