Exactly what I needed!

For many years I have used two computers with the same keyboard, monitor and mouse and connected them to DVI video ports with a KVMP switch. Long story short, the new computer only had VGA or HDMI video inputs, so this cable connecting the new computer to my existing KVMP mixer was just the thing for keeping both my computer setups running digital video signals . Installed very easily and has worked like a charm ever since. Longer than I need but highly recommend.

Pros
  • Computer cable adapter

Very good quality cable

My desktop PC has an old graphics card with two DVI outputs. My new monitor, the 27" Samsung Curved Display, only uses HDMI. So I found what I thought was a rather unusual cable at Revain at a great price. I don't see why anyone would pay more for this type of cable. Really good quality processed. I expect a long and trouble-free life from it. If I need more cables, I will definitely order from this company if they have any.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • I am concerned

There are two questions here. Firstly, this is not a cable problem, but conceptual, and secondly, a possible cable problem. I've used this between a new HDMI port on a Dell 7730 laptop and an old Samsung 2233SW monitor with intermittent and some weird results. The choppy video "breaks up" at the edges of the monitor, which was probably some kind of ringing (jiggling) in the signal path. The 2233SW's DVI-D socket has a full set of 3x8 pinholes, so I adopted dual-link DVI-D and bought this cable.

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • Can I add something

SAVE ME BUYING A NEW MONITOR

I have an HP desktop computer with two DVI ports and no HDMI or VGA port which meant I would have to buy a new monitor. Looking at Revain I found this adapter that works for DVI on a computer and HDMI to connect to my existing monitor. Images are crisp, and for less than $20 I can use a computer that's been in the box for months. When purchasing, I recommend specifying exactly which end the computer has and which end you need for the monitor. I previously bought one that wasn't bi-directional…

Pros
  • Foil and braid shielding minimizes crosstalk, rejects noise, and protects against Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI). Rankie Customer Service

Works perfectly.: DVI to HDMI Adapter

I wanted to increase the distance between the monitor and my HP Pavilion. So I bought a 32 inch Samsung Smart TV. I used a different brand of cable and it didn't work. I bought a 15ft Rankie cable and it worked fine. I knew that DVI-HDMI doesn't support language, so I lengthened the computer. speaker connection. I added a Logitech Z323 speaker kit which I also connected to the DVD speaker out. I have a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse for this computer. Now I can sit on the couch and watch…

Pros
  • Supports resolutions up to 1920x1200 or 1080p for high resolution LCD and LED monitors
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options
